Learn2ski

Learn2ski are our teaching clinics that occur every summer and are a great way to dip your toe into waterskiing. These events are open to anyone, all you need is a swimsuit and a towel, we'll teach you the rest. Whether you are a youngster who just wants to get the feel of skiing or older and you want to learn a new skill, we can get you there.

The clinics are typically Saturday mornings with two sessions, first session from 8:00am to 10:00pm, second session from 10:00pm to 12:00pm. We start with registration and then ski safety. Groups are around 6 people so you will get plenty of attention. We have our own docks, skis, wake boards, and life jackets. During the clinic we will normally run two tow boats and a safety boat. One tow boat will be an out board and the other an inboard. This gives us plenty of flexibility to meet your individual needs. The inboard has a boom that enables almost anyone to get up on skis.

This is also the route many take to learn the sport of Show Skiing. A great number of our learn2skiers, just can't stop skiing. The glamor, grace of ballet and swivel; the thrill and awe of pyramids, jump, barefoot, and wakeboard just get people hooked on skiiing.

What you need to bring:

  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
  • Something to drink. It can get very hot and despite the fact you are in the water, you need to keep hydrated.
  • If you have a life jacket, and you feel comfortable in, then bring it.
  • If you are under 16, bring a parent !!! (they might even ski…)

You should be ready to:

  • Have fun
  • Get water everywhere, up your nose, in your ears :-)
  • Meet cool skiers who can do things on water that will amaze you.
  • Want to come back again, and again.
